Very good vintage condition, No chips, cracks or repair. Most pieces of custard glass, both new and old, are gold trimmed. Be suspicious of gold that shows no wear. Original gold trim is approaching 100 years of age and should logically show at least some signs of normal wear.

P.S. Antique and vintage custard glass, of the highest quality and in excellent condition, from around the world. Custard glass was first produced in England around 1880, and, as its name implies, this glass is ivory in color, and has the appearance of creamy custard. In England, custard glass was used primarily in the manufacture of novelties, salt cellars, and small baskets. About 5 years later, custard glass was produced in America by the Dithridge Company of Pittsburg, PA. ca. 1895-1910 then again as kitchen glassware. 1930-1950s. The leading company was Northwood..
