1903 ROOKWOOD VASE LEONA VAN BRIGGLE – TULIPS
Available for your consideration is this Leona Van Briggle painted tulips Rookwood vase that measures about 7 1/4″ tall with a 2″ diameter top rim. The vase ‘looks’ good and has a condition issue; 2 short hairline cracks on the outer wall emanating at the top edge of the rim and traveling vertical down to about the shoulder of the vase. Both hairlines appear tight although one shows flake loss near to top of the rim. They are positioned about 180 degree apart and the base has been incised with an ‘x’ which I assume was a former owners addition to signify the damage.
