Description
This auction is for a set of vintage 70’s era Kissing Cousin dolls made by Shiba, Japan. The dolls measure approximately 16 inches tall and feature vinyl heads and cloth bodies. Both dolls have big blue eyes and a smattering of freckles. The boy is a redhead, the girl a strawberry blonde. Face paint and hair are nice on both. The little girl is missing one of her pink hairbows. It has been replaced at some point with a vintage plastic barrette. These dolls have velcro on their hands so that they can embrace in a hug. Both are marked Shiba 1340 on the back of their heads. I’ve momentarily tucked some of the girls hair into her hat to take the photo of the neck stamp. These dolls are in good, used condition with some typical age related wear including pilling on the girl’s bum. Both have some dirty spots on their hands and hats that will need cleaning once they arrive at their new home.
