Up for sale is this antique Rookwood American art pottery vase. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This pot measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 3 1/16 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 11.5 ounces. This pot has a matte blue glaze. There is a paneled frieze at the shoulder. This piece would be a fine addition to a collection of antique Ohio art pottery.

Condition
The vase looks great overall, with light wear. There are no chips or cracks. There is fine, unstained crazing. There are some faint brownish areas to the sides. Variations in glazing (lighter and darker areas) are as made. Also as made, there is a tiny indent/bubble to the glaze to the lower side (about 1/8 inch from the bottom). Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.
