ROOKWOOD POTTERY 8.5" TALL VELLUM VASE LORINDA EPPLY 1913

Description

Dated 1913, this Rookwood Pottery Vellum vase, shape number 1342, stands 8.5″ tall by 7″ in diameter. Finished in a very dark blue glaze, it is decorated just below the rim with a band of pink and lighter blue buds, stems and leaves. Decorated by Lorinda Epply, in overall good condition, at the rim is a very tight, short hairline. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery “RP” factory logo, flames, XIII (date), 1342 (shape), V (vellum) and Ms. Epply’s initials. A very nice Rookwood Vellum vase to add to your pottery collection.
