Description
Pair of Rookwood candlesticks with cast leaf detail in a mottled pink matte glaze with some green mixed in places – see photos for details. Height is 6-3/4″ The form number is 1248. The well for the candle is closed on the one (dated 1921) and the other has a small opening in the well bottom ( dated 1922). I don’t have much knowledge about pottery so I dont know why this slight difference other than they were produced a year apart. This pair came together from a local estate where they have been together for many years. No breaks, cracks, or repairs. A beautiful set. Thanks for looking. Mike.
