Rare and early Rookwood Pottery Limoges vase decorated with tall grass and a flying bird. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a non-showing professional restoration to a small area to the inside rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with ROOKWOOD, 1885, shape number and artist cipher for Martin Rettig. Vase is 6″ tall and 3 3/4″ wide. RARE FIND!
